Ecorche was a screamo band from Lincoln, Nebraska, USA. They played melodic hardcore that also included elements from earlier, "chunkier" hardcore of the 1980s and '90s. Similar bands include Grade and Navio Forge.

The band experienced several lineup changes throughout the late 1990s. Cheney was replaced by Kyle Gibson on bass, Bush was replaced by Kevin Chasek on guitar, and Cabella was replaced by Phil Mayben (RIP) on drums.
Ecorche toured with the likes of Stretch Armstrong and Shai Hulud. Members went on to form Wasteoid (Chasek), The Ghostrunners (Gibson), Bright Calm Blue (Whitmore), Luck of Aliea (Chasek), and Laughing Falcon (Chasek, Cheney and Gibson).
